That’s right, you heard it! I’ve set up a little challenge for myself. And that is to beat everyone’s Case Mod page view in TechPowerUp’s Case Mod Gallery page.
Right now the reigning champ is HeavyH20′s case mod page which is about his Phase LS cage, a C2D Quad with two 8800GTX in SLI. As of the time of this writing, it sits at around 49,019 page views. I’ll be nice and consider it at 50k page views.
So I guess that’s the page view that I need to beat. So you guys are probably thinking, how the hell are you supposed to do that if he submitted that case 2 years ago (2006), and it took him 2 years to get that much page views while you submitted yours today (June 1, 2008)?
Well, with the help of my game servers that get a total of 5,000+ page views per day with their MOTDs, I think I can beat it don’t you think? This isn’t illegal as I own this servers, so please don’t crap out on it and tell me it’s illegal…maybe unfair, but definitely not illegal. The only thing I changed was instead of our gaming community page (Which I also own) as the MOTD, I put up the TUP’s Case Gallery Mod page.
Each player that joins my game servers is considered a +1 visit to the TUP case mod page. Same thing as why we get a lot of guests in our game community web portal. So anyway, I’ll go ahead and leave it running until I get 1,000,000 page views or until someone from TUP tells me to stop, although I don’t see anything wrong with it other than advertising my case mod gallery page to the public, only this time, the public is my game community.
