I might not be able to do a lot of stuff this weekend as I have to do three application proposals next week and a couple other things that I have to do. Oh well, the good news is…I’m slowly getting the hardware now. I’ll probably post pictures tomorrow as I don’t want to open the box right now. Why? Because it’ll be a mess and since I got this OCD in me…I tend to do go crazy when I see things that aren’t where they’re supposed to be like let’s say an opened box on the floor, hahaha. I still got a long way to go with regards to cable sleeving since I still have to measure how far some cables are from the motherboard. But hey, at least I have a picture right?
Ever since I added the link to my signature on just some of the forums I frequent…I got a couple of hundred visits already. It’s a bit embarassing if you’re doing a worklog…that’s already slow…and then add the lack of pictures. I’m currently charging my camera’s batteries right now and get you guys some pictures of what I’ve done the past couple of days. Too bad schedule’s too hectic to do anything this weekend. And for those of you who are looking forward to this project, please let me know by posting comments and/or suggestions along the way. Remember, I’m trying to do everything by myself even though I have the money to just pay someone to do all of these stuff. So I might make mistakes…let me know!
Moreover, I’ll be using my old PSU, which is the Corsair HX520w Modular Power Supply. I need to open it up and void the warranty since I’m going to be re-sleeving it. I know, I know…some of you guys are probably thinking…why would you do that if it’s already sleeved? Well the thing is, you can see the wires inside of the sleeve especially if you direct some light to it, just take a look at the picture below and you’ll see what I mean. Now look at the first picture, you can even see the wires! Now that’s what I’m talking about!
