I just got done sanding every single part of the case that will be painted and I’ve already started priming some of them – like the HDD cage, no pictures though of those though. But I do have some pictures of some of the materials that I’ll be using! Anyway here are some of them…I’ll explain what their uses are as far as this project is concerned.
I bought three 3/4″ hole grommets, this hole grommets will cover the three holes that I’ll be drilling on my motherboard tray. One at the top for the 6-pin/8-pin and fan cables and then two at the bottom for the miscellaneous cables like the USB cables, Power/HDD/Other LED cables, et al. If you’re wondering what brand are they, they are Buchanan construction products.
Next items would be three differenct cable clamp sizes from Gardner Bender. 6 pieces of 3/4″ cable clamps, 12 pieces of 1/2″ cable clamps, and 15 pieces of 3/8″ cable clamps. I will be using this at different spots on the case to help me with cable management.
Next up are the stuff that I’ve been using when sleeving my cables. They’re pretty self explanatory so I’ll just post the pictures.
And finally, the processor that I’ll be using. As most of you probably know by now, I got this OCD thingie on just about everything. If only Intel would produce a 3GHz and not some 3.2GHz or 2.83GHz processors then I would have gone Intel right now. But then again, I also love playing the under dog which is why I got this!
So what will be my method of cooling considering I already got a couple of water cooling parts here? Well I’m thinking of doing some air cooling now. So stay tuned!
