All of the parts have been sanded and primed now except for the mobotherboard tray which I still have to cut three holes for cable management. I got to say it was fun drilling the rivets out…but putting them back in later on, I don’t think I’ll remember which one’s which! Hahaha! Here’s what they look like after being sanded and prime.
Before I put some primer on the parts, I heated them with a heat gun just a bit and then after each coat of primer I also heated the parts with a heat gun. I sanded each piece with 400 grit and then I put more than one coat of primer for each part. Here’s what I used.
I also have a couple of new hardware to share to you guys. The Noctua’s aren’t here yet, you know I can’t really wait to start things up just to test the hardware but I’m too busy and with a couple of laptops and desktops still working…I’m not really into rushing this project since even if this isn’t complete yet, I can still do stuff everyday.
