I hooked up the new system to try and salvage the files from when I first had the AMD 62 X2 4200+ system…and the best thing is…well, it booted up and I am now able to transfer files from the old system to their temporary home which is my laptop. So how do I prevent this from happening? I’m thinking about having an external HDD or just making a system that is low on power and runs 24/7. I’ll keep you guys posted as I’m kinda busy doing all this transfer crap right now. You know what sucks more? I’m doing it on a 4GB USB thumb drive since it’s the only one I have right now, oh how I wish I have an external enclosure so I could just plug this HDD in and transfer everything…sigh. I can’t have everything anyway right?
