Aight, I’m at NAIA terminal 2 right now and I’m hella pissed. I’m used to being able to connect to any wireless network for free when I’m in Colorado. I expect all the terminals in NAIA to be notebook/netbook friendly but guess what! They’re not! Just look at the screenshot below, do you see all the unsecured wireless connections? The only connection you can actually connect and use is airborneaccess.pal. You can connect to the other unsecured wireless networks but then it’s pretty much just local connections a.k.a. no Google.com for you.
One other thing, the internet is hella slow! Seriously, I mean why? It’s not like people will leave their laptops on 24/7 in NAIA just to torrent or something. They’re just using G-rated routers, come on guys it’s all about N now! Anyway, I hate the internet in the Philippines as a whole. Technology is cheap now and they should at least try and upgrade their existing cables, routers, or whatever networking equipment they have.
