I Love ScreenGrab!

Monday, March 8th, 2010

When I didn’t have this FireFox add-on, it usually takes me a couple of minutes to stitch together a couple of images so that you can see what a website looks like in all its glory (full frame) but now all I have to do is right-click and save it as a Complete Page/Frame from ScreenGrab!

ADSDAQ 2010 Sucks

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

It’s been quite awhile since I’ve changed Ad Networks and I’ve always stayed with ADSDAQ since I can set a high CPM and still get a good fill rate. But lately, my websites have been bombarded with weight loss/teeth whitening ads and trust me on what I am going to say right now…they’re scams. I mean seriously? Come on. Not only are they scams but the ads look so ugly. It’s time to move on…

Test Your USB Drive’s Read And Write Performance

Friday, March 20th, 2009

So I have this 4GB USB thumb drive by Sony which I bought for who knows how much. I wanted to find out what its read and write speed are since I will probably be using it if I manage to fit the Vista or Windows 7 installer in it. I searched around the web and from most of the forums that I’ve seen, they’ve always recommended HD Tune as the weapon of choice in finding out your USB drive’s read and write speed. However the free version and HD Tune only allows you to do check out the read performance of your USB drive. You need to dish out some cash if you want to do both read and write tests.

So I continued searching and eventually I landed on this hiyohiyo’s website called Crystal Dew World. It’s in Japanese but he has an English version of his website. And it looks like I found out what I need…for free!

Microsoft’s Live Mesh Is A Mobile Person’s Dream Come True

Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

When I go to my classes I bring my Samsung NC10 netbook since it’s pretty much my ‘notebook’ for all my classes. I save my notes to my netbook and then transfer it to my desktop at home via a USB flash drive or if I forget my USB flash drive I send an e-mail to myself and download the files from there. Honestly I don’t like it, for me it has too many steps involved just to keep your documents synchronized. I wanted something easier…something where I can just drop and drag files into and it’ll automatically synchronize it with my other devices.

Well hello Live Mesh! Microsoft’s new Live service called Live Mesh may probably be a mobile person’s dream come true. It’s a data synchronization system from Microsoft that allows any kind of file and folder to be shared and synchronized across multiple devices and platforms.

Google Malware Warning

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

You guys probably already know that sometimes when you’re using Google, it labels certain websites as harmful. And most of the time…Google’s right. But what happens when Google labels it’s own website as harmful? Hahaha. Something’s definitely wrong right now, Google is labeling every website as harmful. And when you click on it, it tells you that it may harm your computer! Looks like Google’s glitched right now. Check out the screenshots I took.
